Videos

Project numero 1: A wedding at Elkridge. My brother in law was married last weekend to a beautiful friend, Marina. It was a gorgeous, albeit windy day and we had the honour of working the videocameras. As a finished product, Marina and Chris will receive a cornucopia of video surprises. They get: an edited version of the complete day in 10 minutes, the complete ceremony unedited and an unedited version of the reception, divided into chunks.
I think video is something that is overlooked at weddings and definitely find such a thrill in putting together a product that couples will enjoy more than they realize.

Remember us?

No we haven't retired our cameras...we just took some time to enjoy the sweet nectar of life. But now we're over it and taking on some projects.
This past weekend we did a pregnancy shoot of Kyla. Which meant she got to boss me around and I took the pictures. The only bossing around I did was telling her which shoes to wear.
I think the edits turn out fabulous and I feel very proud of the creativity that we came up with together!

Our favourite photos of 2011

2011 was a year of firsts for Parkography.
Finally realizing what we could do together that was profitable and fun, Kyla and I put our creative minds together and did almost 16 photo shoots and 2 video gigs.
That was WAY more than I expected to do in our first year.
We've learned a lot from each other and continue to look for new ideas and ways to capture our favourite moments.
